What will it cost?

As each project Keystage creates is bespoke, it is impossible to say in advance. Past projects have ranged from £5,000 - £25,000.

Who will pay?

Some of our products are funded by the client, however the majority of our projects are funded by outside bodies such as Heritage Lottery Fund, Charitable Trusts and local authorities. Funding obtained will usually include money to cover our fees and any project costs (cameras, production costs, printing etc...)

How do I obtain funding?

Obviously, funding is not guaranteed, but Keystage has wide experience in successful applications. We will support you, at no cost, in making an application.

What will I have to do?

You are in control of how much or little you wish to do. You may wish to think about other people who would like to be involved and their skills.

What are the benefits of doing heritage arts projects with Keystage?

What do you mean by Heritage?

Quoted from Heritage Lottery Fund, Heritage is “making choices about what you want to keep and share from the past for future generations”. Heritage includes, but is much more than, preserving, excavating, displaying or restoring a collection of old things. It is both tangible and intangible, in the sense that ideas and memories are as important as historical buildings and archaeological sites.

What can Keystage do for me?

Keystage can help you plan and implement your project from start to finish. We have access to a wide range of skills. Our team includes historians, writers, directors, designers, choreographers, set builders, photographers, costumiers, archivists, musicians, events organisers and much more. It is very likely that if we can’t do it in house, we will know someone who can.

If you cannot find the answer to your question here, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
